Set in the geothermal heart of Rotorua, our kitchen is inspired by a land where the earth breathes, forests thrive, and food carries deep cultural roots. Here, steakhouse tradition meets the wild, untamed spirit of Aotearoa.
Our journey begins in the Ngahere (forest), drawing on native ingredients such as Horopito and Kawakawa—hand-harvested, aromatic, and used for generations to heal, season, and elevate. These flavours run through our menu, connecting land, people, and place.
On the grill, we celebrate provenance without compromise. Savannah Angus beef from Whakatāne, Southern Station Wagyu, and Coastal North Island lamb are cooked simply over fire to let quality speak for itself. From our signature tomahawk to perfectly cut eye and scotch fillets, every steak is finished with your choice of house sauces and home-infused mustards, crafted in-house.
Our kaimoana is sustainably sourced from some of New Zealand’s coldest, cleanest waters—Big Glory Bay king salmon from Stewart Island, market fish finished with burnt butter and native herbs, and green-lipped mussels enriched with horopito-infused volcanic cream.
Beyond the grill, our menu balances richness with refinement. Handmade pasta, slow-cooked pork belly glazed with mānuka honey, and thoughtful vegetarian dishes sit alongside seasonal sides designed for sharing—because great food is best enjoyed together.
